Lake Samish

Main Species: Kokanee, Cutthroat trout.
Sub Species: Largemouth bass and perch.
Size: Approx. 800 acres.
Public Access: Yes. County park at North end.
Boat Launch: Yes, gravel.
Bathrooms: Yes, at the state park.
Opening Date: Open year round.
Closing date: Open year round.

Located off I-5 a few miles south of Bellingham. There is a state park at the North end of the lake and a public gravel boat launch further down south on the east side of the lake. This lake can be good for Kokanee with largemouth bass fishing heating up in the summer.
