Lake Fazon would be a good bet. There is bank acesss from a couple of docks and it is open year round.

I could be wrong but i dont think there are any Cappie in Fazon that I know of. I've fished it for 20 years and never caught any. I only know of one lake in Whatcom county that has Crappie and that is Boundary or Judson lake (depending on which map you look at) but it's so grown over with weeds that you can only kyak it if that. Again I could be wrong, any other thoughts?

I think Fazon is currently closed for duck season...like maybe til January. Checks the regs.

I've fished it a bunch and never caught a crappie....but I suppose they could have eluded me  ;)

And sorry,  I don't have any suggestions,  I'm not that big of a warm water species fisher.

Good luck

My bad....Fazon is closed to fishing from a boat until January.

Good luck walking  ;). Tried that a couple times years ago and found myself up to my armpits in muck.

Still doesn't answer the crappie question though

You might have to look south to Skagit county for a warm water lake with Crappie. I'm not sure which if any may have them, but it wouldn't surprise me.  Crappie is listed on the lake Campbell page on the site here, but I can't corroborate from personal experience on presence of the fish or how good it may be. http://fishwhatcom.com/fishing-access/skagit-county/lake-campbell/

I have fished Campbell for YEARS and never caught a Crappie out of there.  Nor have I ever seen one caught...even in an old picture!
Yet they have a 9Ē min. size? ...and a limit of 10?
That would be a fun trip??

Thanks for the info all...

Not too surprising...sometimes what's listed doesn't correlate to what's actually there. Also not sure how accurate that info is. In the regs they also list grass carp as no limit, bow and arrrow OK.  Have you ever seen carp in there?
