North Fork Stillaguamish
« on: August 20, 2013, 08:04:11 PM »
I was thinking about heading to the North Fork of the Stillaguamish in the morning to go fly fish for trout/summer runs has anyone heard any reports of fish being caught or how the water clarity looks. Quite the long drive so I need a little more motivation.  :D

It just so happens that I was shooting the shit about fishing with the gate guard at one of the refineries yesterday.
He was saying that he was up that way and how very low and clear the water was...nothing about fish just it was low as he has ever seen it"with that little of water"with that said he was a pretty old dude.
So it must be ultra low and clear.

I think they closed part of the North fork due to the ultra lowness and warm water.

hey thanks for the reports guys. I'll have to look into the closure before the warden informs me on paper. Sounds like I better stick to the Skagit or Nooksack.
