Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association Work Party
to be Held Monday, January 16th
In celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service, please join Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association and Whatcom Land Trust on Monday, January 16th planting native trees and shrubs along Landingstrip Creek restoration site in Acme. FromBellingham, head east onMt. Baker Highway (SR 542) for about 15 miles. Turn right onto Highway 9, just outside of Deming, and follow for about 7 miles. Turn left ontoRothenbuhler Rd., cross the railroad tracks, and look for signs on the right. Parking will be available. Check in at the blue NSEA tent. The work party will take place from 11am – 2pm. Tools and gloves are provided as well as refreshments courtesy of The Bagelry, Bellewood Acres, and Tony’s Coffee. Please wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing and bring enthusiasm, your friends and family!
